New Retail Units, Car Parking and Concrete Yards
Works at Priors Hall Park in Corby consisted of two separate packages for the same contractor. Altogether, the project consisted of a number of new retail units, changing facilities, car parking, concrete yards and various landscaping and paving works.
We undertook laboratory testing of the existing ground on site to ascertain whether the material was clean enough to store on the on landfill which was located on the estate. Once the lab had confirmed the material was clean, we were then able to cart the excavated material down the road to the onsite tip saving time and money.
The retail portion of this site was undertaken during the Covid-19 pandemic which led to the site shutting down for four weeks. To assist with meeting the original contracted handover dates, we supplied additional labour to assist with pushing the job on which resulted in meeting the originally agreed completion dates.
