Cat Rehoming Centre, Godmanchester
Groundwork’s package including the construction of New Cat Accommodation Units, Admin Block, Retaining Walls, Drainage and Tarmac Footpaths.
The construction of a new Cat rehoming centre in Godmanchester was a stimulating project in which we used a number of existing construction techniques and materials and also some new ones. The site required an extensive power and communication supply meaning that we had to install a suitable ducting network to accommodate this provision. In addition to this, the site featured a steep bank which needed to be retained to the allow the construction of the units. A Porcupine concrete walling system was specified which featured a quick installation without the need for mortar bonding.
